about // writing
Hi. I'm a writer and editor living in Brooklyn.
Currently, I’m a special projects editor for the Guardian US, where I commission stories on climate, environment, gender, politics, and more. Previously, I was a senior staff writer at Jezebel.
My writing has appeared in Texas Monthly, ELLE.com, VICE, Racked, Gizmodo, and other places.
I grew up in Texas, Mexico, and Arkansas and I love to write about the intersection between culture, identity and place. In 2022, I received my master of arts in labor studies at the CUNY School of Labor and Urban Studies, and co-taught a class on climate reporting at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism.
I'm passionate about creating transparency in journalism and mentoring other young writers.
